Medieval Bedroom - Rendered in Unity 6.
This was an environment I modeled myself in Maya and rendered in Unity. Since it was my very first time in any 3D software, it was very frustrating trying to learn the UI and basic hotkeys. I found 3D modeling to actually be kind of relaxing in this process even if the time period we went for was pretty difficult.
I decided to go back to the project in Winter 2026 to re-work on it with new understanding as well as to bring it into Unity to render, as the first pass was just in Arnold (the last 2 photos). I think going back to an old project was a nice experience since I didn’t really know too much about the importance of lighting and texturing before.
